My latest gifts from my little ones. One of the many sets of twins went to the mountains this past weekend and they each brought me a magnet.

Tonight we had dinner at a restaurant called La Mary (Mary). It was really good and was priced well. Mother, we shall go there whenever you decide to make the trip over.

Been back in Murcia for a couple of hours now. Today it was raining so we spent the day looking at the statues they have made for Las Fallas this year. I will put up pics tonight or tomorrow. Time to rest and back on the grind in the morning.

New building in the City of Arts and Sciences. I think it's an auditorium because they are having a concert there tonight.

We spent the first four hours of our day at th aquarium. We hadn't planned on going because it costs 30€ a person but Nuria wanted to atleast see it up close. We get there and decide that we might as well pay it since we are here. While in line a man approached us and said he was trying to get 20 people together because as a group, the tickets are 10€ cheaper. In the end we had 21 people and we all paid less.

The aquarium is cool but they don't have freshwater fish. That for me is a massive negative. I also feel bad for the larger animals that clearly don't have enough room in their aquariums.

We spent the rest of the day walking around my old neighborhood and the city. Now it's time for dinner and then back to Murcia tomorrow.

We are heading to Valencia for the weekend. Nuria has never been so I get to show a Spaniard the great city of Valencia. Happy Valentine's Day and have a great weekend!

I just calculated that I walk 14 miles a week going to and fro my jobs. That is the main advantage of living in the heart of a city and working there as well. I never thought I would enjoy walking as much as I do.

I just looked in the tank and saw a baby fish. Let's see if it makes it! Our fish tank is like the Lion King with the circle of life.

We lost a fish this afternoon and Nuria's cousin's dog was put to sleep this morning as well. He was the father of Nuria's dog that was put down in September. I think he was 13 or 14 years old.

Our weekend in the mountains was a good one. We had great weather and were among great company. We had fun but were always busy. This meant that we didn't rest and Monday morning was a little difficult for me. I will post some pics soon.

On Saturday my brother from another mother got married. Wishing for nothing but the best for Aaron and Brittany.

On Sunday we found out that it is true that offense wins games but defense wins championships. Congrats to Denver for a great year and to Seattle for being the champs!

What a great day if football! Georgia and Tennessee won and I watched the best game I had seen since Vince Young and the Longhorns beat Matt Leinart and the Trojans. What a game between Bama and Auburn. I didn't think I could root for Auburn after how the game ended against Georgia but I am cheering for them now. The Ohio State- Michigan game looked like it was great as well along with the UNC-Duke game. There is nothing like college football!!

I stayed up until after two and I am happy to say that I was fairly quiet the entire game. I only screamed when Auburn returned the FG for the touchdown. I can't say the same about the Georgia- Auburn game two weeks ago. I'm pretty sure the entire building heard me that night. Well, the neighbors were having a party so they were actually louder than I was. Everyone just happened to leave right after the game ended so it worked out perfectly.

Our family lost one of the matriarchs yeaterday when my grandmother passed away. She was a wonderful, loving and intelligent person. Ever since I lived in Spain, whenever we talked she was always worried about how much the phone call was costing me. She was an amazing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed but we are happy that she is not suffering any earthly sickness anymore. R.I.P. Gran Gran

The month of September is over. Ever since the second week I have been busy with my classes. The first week of class went by quite slowly and I was only working at the academy that week. The next two weeks went by a lot faster as I was busy with the two jobs. I am glad that the month is over and that Nuria is finally working as well. We both are really busy and will be ever busier now in October. I'm going to have an extra three hours at least, of class at the academy, three more hours at the school and two hours of private class the morning I don't have to work at the academy or school. Busy, busy, busy!

They had to put Nuria's dog of twelve years done today. He had been sick for a while and it had gotten worse here over the past couple of months. Nuria has had dogs her entire life and he was the best and her favorite. Here is their last pic together from the beginning of the summer.
