I had forgotten how much I like March Madness. The past couple of years I watched very few, if any games. That us not the case this year. I had Duke winning it all in one of my brackets but I'm extremely glad they lost. Now is your chance Vols. GBO!

I'm sure the neighbors are wondering what could I possibly be yelling about. I have to properly introduce Spain to March Madness.

Happy Spanish father's day to all the fathers out there. Very glad to have a day off in the middle of the week. Back to work tomorrow.

The Blindside has been on tv a couple times this week so almost every person I know has commented on Michael Oher playing ball in Tennessee.

A lot of football happenings this week but switching sports, big shout out to my cuz Dre and the rest of the Oak Ridge Wildcats. Runner-up isn't a bad thing at all. Stay hungry though, State champs next year!

Went to watch murcia's football game. Felt great to see some real football!

We are back from the mountains and we had a good time with our friends. Back to work tomorrow. Here are some pics from this weekend.

I had a pretty good time in Águilas. Got to see some people I don't see very often and have some good food. Seeing the sea is never that bad either. I was saddened to find out that a student if mine from three years ago has some type of cancer and I don't think it's looking so good for him. Keep Alberto and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Tonight we had dinner at a restaurant called La Mary (Mary). It was really good and was priced well. Mother, we shall go there whenever you decide to make the trip over.

Been back in Murcia for a couple of hours now. Today it was raining so we spent the day looking at the statues they have made for Las Fallas this year. I will put up pics tonight or tomorrow. Time to rest and back on the grind in the morning.

New building in the City of Arts and Sciences. I think it's an auditorium because they are having a concert there tonight.

We spent the first four hours of our day at th aquarium. We hadn't planned on going because it costs 30€ a person but Nuria wanted to atleast see it up close. We get there and decide that we might as well pay it since we are here. While in line a man approached us and said he was trying to get 20 people together because as a group, the tickets are 10€ cheaper. In the end we had 21 people and we all paid less.

The aquarium is cool but they don't have freshwater fish. That for me is a massive negative. I also feel bad for the larger animals that clearly don't have enough room in their aquariums.

We spent the rest of the day walking around my old neighborhood and the city. Now it's time for dinner and then back to Murcia tomorrow.

We are heading to Valencia for the weekend. Nuria has never been so I get to show a Spaniard the great city of Valencia. Happy Valentine's Day and have a great weekend!

I just calculated that I walk 14 miles a week going to and fro my jobs. That is the main advantage of living in the heart of a city and working there as well. I never thought I would enjoy walking as much as I do.

I just looked in the tank and saw a baby fish. Let's see if it makes it! Our fish tank is like the Lion King with the circle of life.

We lost a fish this afternoon and Nuria's cousin's dog was put to sleep this morning as well. He was the father of Nuria's dog that was put down in September. I think he was 13 or 14 years old.

Our weekend in the mountains was a good one. We had great weather and were among great company. We had fun but were always busy. This meant that we didn't rest and Monday morning was a little difficult for me. I will post some pics soon.

On Saturday my brother from another mother got married. Wishing for nothing but the best for Aaron and Brittany.

On Sunday we found out that it is true that offense wins games but defense wins championships. Congrats to Denver for a great year and to Seattle for being the champs!
